Our Story

Hi, we're Tiffani and David Martin, the owners of Arts Academy. We’ve been passionately providing strong musical education for students, along every step of their musical journey since 2009.

In the beginning, Tiffani would teach the young children, while David worked with the older, more advanced kids. This partnership worked well for a few years until the demands of parenting three small children made it too difficult for Tiffani to continue. So at that point, we decided it was time to stop teaching, which meant we needed to look elsewhere for a new teacher to take her place. One year later, we brought on our first guitar teacher. And one by one, as the academy grew, we brought on more and more teachers. The Arts Academy is now the largest music school in the state of Oregon.

We take pride in the fact that each of our teachers custom fit the lessons around the needs and desires of each of their students. This is very important to us because we believe if the teacher and student can form a good relationship, then the chances of success go way up!

Arts Academy is a wonderful place, and we're honored that so many students and families love our teachers, our teaching philosophy, and our atmosphere for learning!

When we started Arts Academy, we set out to multiply our passion of how music should be taught – by teachers who are talented, qualified, and who share our same philosophy of music. Our goal is that every student receives individual music instruction tailored to their age, personality, and learning style. We carefully select teachers that will emulate this goal.
